Come with or without a partner. Dress comfortably and wear smooth-soled shoes that allow you to glide. ValDance hosts a drop-in beginner workshop every Friday at 7:00 p.m., featuring a different dance style each week. Stay and practice at our dance party from 8-10 p.m. Cost $12.
If you like music you will love the East Coast Swing. It is often referred to as the triple rhythm swing. It fits most upbeat tempos you will hear on the radio today. East Coast Swing is a circular dance that has no bounce but is smooth and grounded.
Group classes in Ballroom, Latin and Swing styles are offered nightly for teens and adults from beginner to advanced. Private lessons available. See website for more info and to register.
