Victoria Hindu Parishad & Cultural Center ( VHPCC ), a registered, charitable, non-profit organization, is organizing its annual cultural program to celebrate Diwali, the most popular East Indian festival. Diwali is a festival of lights and this program will showcase a variety of Indian classical and semi-classical dances, Hindi and Punjabi bollywood songs, as well as other instrumental & musical entertainment. Several talented local artists will be participating in this event to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage to the community. This show has been organized every year since 1998 to bring cultural awareness to the population of Greater Victoria and Southern Vancouver Island.
All tickets $20. Free tickets available for children ages 2 and under on lap. Please contact the UVic Ticket Centre to make arrangements. Please note, there is no scheduled intermission.
