Deerholme Happiness Dinner 2016 – February 13th Foods that boost your seretonin levels promoting a sense of well being; This year we look at the foods of far South America: Peru, Chile, Argentina.
Starter: Oyster and truffle Ceviche Wild mushroom empanada, avocado sauce
Plates: Pantrucas (pasta) chowder with clams and root vegetables Noquis (purple potato) dumplings, spiced walnut and aged goats cheese sauce Pollo al la brasa – beer, herb and spice marinated then roasted chicken served with crisp roasted potatoes and garlic kale Braso de reina (roll cake with caramel) dark chocolate yerba mate sauce and cuchufli cookies
