Born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Multiple Maple Blues Award winner, David Gogo received a ukulele at age 4 and his first guitar at age 5. Encouraged by his parents throughout his childhood, the guitar began to captivate him. By the age of 16 Gogo was working steadily as a professional musician. So far he has captured three �Juno� nominations, was named Musician of the Year at the �Western Canada Music Awards�, was twice named Guitarist of the Year at the �Maple Blues Awards� and has been bestowed with the �CBC�s Saturday Night Blues, �Great Canadian Blues Award� for a lifetime contribution to the blues in Canada.
