DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Multiple Maple Blues Award winner, David Gogo received a ukulele at age 4 and his first guitar at age 5. Encouraged by his parents throughout his childhood, the guitar began to captivate him. By the age of 16 Gogo was working steadily as a professional musician. So far he has captured three ‘Juno’ nominations, was named Musician of the Year at the ‘Western Canada Music Awards’, was twice named Guitarist of the Year at the ‘Maple Blues Awards’ and has been bestowed with the ‘CBC’s Saturday Night Blues, ‘Great Canadian Blues Award” for a lifetime contribution to the blues in Canada.=0D=0A=
