Dance Temple (Omtown yoga's monthly dance event)

At Omtown, we love to dance, and we love to dance in community. For a few years we have been holding these events with great dance facilitators like Jennifer McLeish-Lewis, and April Kuramoto. Now we welcome Naomi Jason from Saltspring Island as our dance facilitator. She is the founder of Salspring Island's Dance Temple events, and is a fabulous motivator and encourager of dance. Omtown's dance events are always supported by live musicians. April Laurie brings her vocalization skills, and african and latin percussion. (aprillaurie.weebly.com) Other guest musicians join her to fill out the space with hang type drums, and this month we welcome a guest flute player. It's live, and connected to the dance, so come on out to dance how you need to dance.
Indoor shoes are welcome, please bring a water bottle. See you on the dance floor!
