Tuesday, June 5th, 2012 - Coast to Coast Cycle of Life Tour � Bridges the Gap for Victoria Hospice. Local Victorian to cycle 7500 kilometers to raise funds for Victoria Hospice.
A journey of a 7500 kilometers starts with a single turn of the pedal. 21 year old Sean Jacklin is on his way to becoming a Neo-Pro as he begins a cross-Canada cycling odyssey on June 5th at 8:30am at Mile Zero. He is riding his bike on this epic journey to raise money and awareness for Victoria Hospice.
Jacklin will meet with supporters and accept donations from major sponsors of the �Cycle of Life Tour;� before heading out on his bike at 9am. Join Sean as he rides to Swartz Bay, followed closely by a pack of cyclists supporting him on the first leg of his journey. The community is invited to take part along with sponsors and members of the Victoria Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation who will be arriving at Mile Zero in an on-duty fire engine to present a cheque to Sean.
