CVRS Dessert and Dance Benefit

Come out and enjoy a night of decadent desserts and divine dancing with the local eclectic rock band "Flying Debris"
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased by cash or cheque from Blue Heron Books (1775 Comox Ave) or in Courtenay at Laughing Oyster Book Shop (286 5th St).
All proceeds from this event go directly to supporting the Abo-Nofal family (mom,dad and 3 daughters) who is arriving in the Comox Valley after spending the last 4 years in a refugee camp in the Syrian desert. A group of community members in the Comox Valley have teamed up with Comox United Church to sponsor this family and help them begin a new life here in our beautiful valley.
Also at the event will be a silent auction featuring wonderful items donated by local businesses. As everything is being done by volunteers, every penny we raise goes directly to supporting this family. We are accepting monetary donations as well as donations of your time if you would like to help us fund raise.
