Travel the world in comfort... comfort food, that is, with Chef Anna Hunt. Tuck into winter with your favourite foods from around the globe. In this series we will visit France and Morocco without leaving downtown Victoria. In this class you will transport yourself to France with a tasty and satisfying cassoulet. Yes, you eat what you make!
FRENCH MENU:
- Bitter green salad of endive, radicchio and watercress, with candied walnuts apples and blue cheese
- French onion soup: Rich broth full of slow cooked onions topped with french bread and bubbling cheese
- Cassoulet: Cannelini beans cooked slowly in smoked ham hock broth, with juicy pieces of confit chicken, sausage, bacon and hock
- Apple tarte tatin: Caramelized apples with puff pastry
