Cook Culture Cooking Class: Canning and Preserving the Season

Learn the basics of preserving foods using the local bounty of the west coast as it moves through the season. The right time to harvest and preserve throughout the growing season. In this class we will walk you through how to prep, make and preserve jams, pickles and vegetables. Recipes that allow for variations and the knowledge to do this safely and successfully at home!
The menu will be guided by mother nature, but may include the following:
Jam: Berry jam
Pickles: Kimchi, Green relish, Dill pickles, Pickled cauliflower
Sweet and Savory Preservation: Tomatoes, Peaches
Demonstration | 3 hours | *A full meal will not be served at this class
Each participant will go home with a product made during the class.
