Interested in learning more about health, wellness, and your community? UVic Psi Chi is hosting the 2nd Annual Connecting to Community Health Workshop Series! The next workshop is on Epilepsy with a special presentation from Headway, Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson's Centre.
Connecting to Community Health is designed to engage people of all ages in becoming aware of various issues pertaining to mental health and well-being. Volunteer organizations from the community will conduct 2 hour evening workshops which will include a certificate of completion. Each presentation offers an opportunity to hear from someone experiencing the issues first hand, a discussion of current upcoming volunteer opportunities, and a chance for discussion and questions. Time: Thursday, March 26th, 6-8pm Location: The University of Victoria, Engineering and Computer Science Building (ECS),Room 116 Cost: $5-10* Donation (* 80% of all proceeds go to local presenting organizations)
