As part of our 2013 Winter Charity Events, Gowlland Harbour Resort is hosting two classical music + dining events featuring musicians Konstantin Bozhinov and Marc Destrub� in support of the Quadra Island Food Bank.

Event 1 � Charity Dinner & Concert
Saturday, Nov. 30 | 6 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm)
$120 per person

Join us for a magical evening of musical and culinary inspiration. This is an intimate event, up close with the musicians. Your ticket includes a four-course plated dinner, two glasses of specifically paired wines and time with the musicians.

The menu:
Crab Bisque
Mushroom Terrine with Confit, Baby Veg & Greens
Guava Granite � palate cleanser
Chestnut & Rose Stuffed Quail
Black Chocolate Mousse with Wine jelly jewels
Coffee, tea, fruit, nuts & cheese

Event 2 � Brunch & Concert
Sunday, Dec. 1 | 11 am (doors open at 10:30 am)
$35 per person

A daytime treat with a sumtious buffet and concert. Your ticket includes a buffet brunch with desserts and non-alcoholic beverages.


Musician Bios
Konstantin Bozhinov, Ph.D. | Lute
Konstantin is a student in historical musicology at the University of Victoria, as well as a professional performer on the lute, baroque guitar and theorbo. He is also the co-founder and music director of the Renaissance group Ensemble Humana and recently made his debut with the Pacific Baroque Orchestra.

Marc Destrub� | Violin
The artistic director of the Pacific Baroque Festival and Artistic Advisor to the New York City ensemble Dorian Baroque. Marc's resume includes soloist, symphony director, concertmaster, recording artist, and director of Modern Baroque Operas as well as instigating innovative Aboriginal dance and music programmes.
