As you can tell, depending on your specific dietary needs, there is something there for just about everyone. I am vegetarian, but I eat cheese and dairy, so the lasagne will work for me. There is not a lot for pure vegans beyond the salads and the potatoes and vegetables. The caterer said that she felt that most of the menu is celiac-friendly because they do not cook the meat with any wheat or grain -- the "crusted" chicken has only herbs and spices and a natural crust from being cooked, not any grain. Obviously, the desserts and tabouli salad would be out for someone with celiac, but there are still quite a few lovely options I think.

The banquet hall will be beautifully seasonally decorated for Christmas and they have what I am told is an amazing dance floor - one of the best in the city -- we will have a DJ and we will have the place to ourselves until 2:00am (music & beverage service stop at 1:00am).

The price for this Christmas Meetup Gala Event is $55 for everyone who pays before December 1 and, depending on how many people sign up, it may go up to $60 for those who pay after December 1 because if we don't have 100 people, then the cost goes up. The event starts at 6:00pm.

I also made a deal with the caterer for those who just want to come and dance. This is a very LIMITED deal, which I am only offering to about 25 people. A few people told me that they already have a Christmas party that night or that they absolutely cannot afford $55 or that the menu was completely unsuitable for them (for example vegans) and I did not want anyone to feel left out. So, for a limited number of people, you can come at 9:00pm instead of 6:00pm and enjoy the dancing, the cash bar, and some extra snacks that the caterer will be putting out for only $25.

I need to limit the tickets for this because I want this to be a phenomenal event and we need to get enough people signed up for the buffet itself to make this event a huge success!!!

Please feel free to invite friends and family (all family members must be over 19 for this event). What an amazing introduction to meetup this would be!

Oh... and what to wear? I am going to call this semi-formal. Please feel free to really dress up and make this special (or dress like an elf - Mary :)). However, if you don't like to dress up, please feel free to dress in whatever you consider to be your own personal version of "dressed up". No jeans, T-shirts and baseball caps. If everyone wants to be extremely dressy - suit and tie - dresses - I think that would be lovely.
