The first festival oriented to showcasing cheese and meat arrives in Victoria on May 21st. With the recent boom in artisan shops across the capital region the Cheese and Meat festival aims to showcase both international and local cheese and meat in an experiential tasting format.

The festival will take place at the beautiful setting of the Parkside Hotel and Spa. Attendees will walk at leisure around the grounds enjoying bite size tastes of cheese and meat while pairing the bites with wine, beer, and cider. It is an exciting time in Victoria. With the abundance of artisan shops, and restaurants in Victoria showcasing fantastic product, as well as the relaxing import laws on dairy allows us to share the best the world has to offer.

Did you have a cheese or meat that you was soo good you wanted to take it home with you? Never fear, as the Cheese and Meat festival will have an on site store which will allow consumers to directly buy the product they are tasting. The festival will consist of two tasting sessions.

The afternoon tasting will take place from 3:00pm – 5:30pm and the evening tasting will take place from 7:00pm – 9:30pm. In-between each tasting seminars will take place showcasing cheese and eat creation, pairings, and unique offerings.

Early bird tickets are now on sale at www.cheeseandmeatfestival.com for just $35 before tax and service fees. This deal is very limited and ends on January 1st or while supplies lasts. This event is a 19+ event: no minors.
