Celebrate International Day of Peace

Come celebrate and raise a consciousness of Peace in our world. The day begins with a multi faith outdoor service with greetings/prayers from the Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist and Christian communities, a short Peace walk through the park, First Nations blessing, reading of the proclamation and candle lighting. Then it’s time to celebrate with oodles of children’s activities and entertainment by Joshua Holloway, Hope Men’s Chorus, Mikeola, Joan Wallace and Jayden Holman.
There’ll also be a Tai Chi demonstration and a massed yoga class on the lawn – we’re going for 200 participants! Full details at www.peacenanaimo.com
