Country Club Mall Hours The hustle and bustle of Christmas can be a difficult time for those who are going into the season grieving the loss of a family member or friend. Nanaimo Community Hospice holds an annual event called Celebrate A Life in December to help our community remember and honor the life of their loved ones by placing a memory card with their names on these trees among the twinkling lights.
There is also a pet tree - for those who are missing a beloved pet.
Trained volunteers are on site to help those who might like to talk to someone and help them with their feelings. Christmas ornaments are also available for those wanting to take an "angel" home to hang on their own tree in remembrance.
A Celebrate A Life Tree is also available at Hospice House at 1080 St. George Crescent from Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm week-days and at our Hospice Thrift Shoppe at 1925 Bowen Rd.
