Cedar Women's Institute started having their blackberry tea 5 years ago to celebrate the 60 years anniversary of the start of World War 2 and to commemorate the roll the Cedar Women's Institute (along with WI branches all over the country) in the war effort. Cedar WI sent pounds of blackberry jam to UK. BC WI contributes 162.35 tonnes of jam over the course of the war So Please join us and savour our blackberrry goodies . This year Cedar Women's Institute is proud to be celebrating 90 years as a group & helping the community of Cedar.
