Cedar Women's Institute started having their blackberry tea 6 years ago to commemorate the 60 years anniversary of the start of World War 2 and to celebrate the roll the Cedar Women's Institute (along with WI branches all over the country) in the war effort.
Cedar WI sent pounds of blackberry jam to UK. BC WI contributes 162.35 tonnes of jam over the course of the war So Please join us and savour our blackberrry goodies.
Cedar Women's Institute is proud of helping the community of Cedar since 1924.
