For one special evening some of Vancouver Island's favourite dining establishments will be dimming the lights and dialling up the ambiance to raise awareness about energy conservation and simple actions that can add up to make a big difference.

Furthermore, restaurants will provide diners at the Candelight Conservation Dinner with some special offers. BC Hydro Power Smart has partnered with tourism and business improvement associations to bring this event to fine restaurants in communities across B.C.
