Lists are a part of most people's daily lives, helping us remember to buy milk or pick up shirts from the laundry or water the roses. Lists can also be a way to chart accomplishments, to envision what we hope to achieve before we die - in other words, the bucket list, that list we are not always comfortable discussing.
Victoria Hospice's Bucket List Festival aims to make the discussion both fun and informative. Experts will offer a wealth of ideas and advice for everyone looking for ways to face end of life issues, as patient, caregiver or those who just want to list ways to live life as fully as they can.
Our presenters will cover topics such as:
- traveling with health and mobility issues
- advance care planning
- holding a living wake
- using technology to stay in touch with loved ones
- creating a memoir
- strategies to reduce stress for caregivers
