Join Lauren Bosch, Medical Herbalist and Jan MacKirdy, Plantswoman for an informative and creative afternoon of herbal formulation! We will be sharing information about herbs and their topical uses in skincare and first aid uses. This will include a short lecture on the herbs we will be using as well as recipes and room for asking questions. We will also be making sugar scrubs that are perfect for self care rituals or for Valentine's day. There will be plenty of options and lots to learn and share!

You will also learn more in depth about the herbs we will be using, how to make an infused oil, and how to make topical herbal products. In this workshop, you will be making 1 salve recipe using the provided infused oils. You will leave with 1 x 30 mL salve, and 2 x 4 mL chapstick (1 x 4 mL shared from another participant, so you will get to try another recipe). Basic recipes will be provided, but there will be time to ask questions to create your own, if desired. We will also be making sugar scrubs perfect for your self care rituals or to gift for Valentine's Day.
