Bartender is a job unlike any other, and tending bar has held a fascination for many. In this hands-on course, based on standards set by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council, you will gain the skills and knowledge you will need to enter the world of bartending. Topics include: setting up the bar, products knowledge, pouring techniques, speed work, cocktail recipes, LCB rules and responsibilities, time management and customer service.
Tuition includes course materials and 'The Visual Bartender Guide'. We only take 8 students per course to offer one-on-one instructions, so register early to avoid disappointment.
JOBS: Restaurants, catering business, hotels, golfing resorts, retirement homes, and pubs.
DATE: Saturday November 17
TIME: 1pm - 7pm ( 1 hr meal break )
OR
DATE: Monday November 26 & Tuesday November 27 & Wednesday November 28 & Thursday November 29 ( 4 sessions )
TIME: 5pm - 9:15pm ( 2@ 15 min breaks )
FEE: $216.00
NOTE: HTP reserves the right to cancel the course when fewer than 6 students are enrolled in this course. Your tuition fee will be reimbursed minus the transaction fee of $1.75.
