Baking Workshop: Daily Bread with Andrew Whitley
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Andrew Whitley established and ran the Village Bakery in Cumbria, UK for thirty years, and began teaching baking workshops along the way. He now runs a popular baking school called Bread Matters near Edinburgh, Scotland, advocates for better bread making and labeling, and speaks and writes about the importance of traditionally-made bread in our lives and communities.
Here's a rare opportunity to have a hands-on, day-long workshop with Andrew to learn some valuable techniques in kneading, fermenting, shaping and baking a variety of breads. Tasty and nutritious loaves for every day: this is where the journey begins. In one well-organized day youll make several loaves with your own hands, and find that its not just the dough that will rub off on you. Youll take home the knowledge and skill to make it possible to avoid factory loaves (and their dubious effects) for good.
Space is limited to only 12 participants, so book your place now!
