June 11-13 and 17-19

Dr. Sujatha Kekada will be visiting Victoria for the first time in early June. I am very excited to introduce this Ayurvedic physician to Victoria, and for massage practitioners to have the chance to learn Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatments from an authentic and gifted teacher and practitioner. Dr. Sujatha runs a busy clinic in Bali, www.amrtasiddhi.com, where she is visited by people from all over the world. This course has been approved for Continuing Education Credits.

The Level One course is run over two weekends, starting June 11, 12 & 13 (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), to June 17, 18, & 19 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The days in between will be set aside for private consultations & treatments with Dr. Sujatha. The course will offer the following:

-History of Ayurvedic Physiology
-Basic Ayurvedic Diagnoses
-Shirodhara Massage Therapy
-Pinda Sweda Masage Therapy
-Abhyanga Massage Therapy
Ayurvedic Nutrition & Cooking
-Medicated Oils & Ghee Preparations

(***This course is certified by the BC College of Massage Therapists and eligible for 24 RMT credits in the Continuing Education Program.)

There is room for a maximum of 12 people in the course. For those interested, if you register by June 1st you'll receive $50 off the cost of tuition. There is a $150 deposit with registration. to offer a talk on how you can use Ayurveda to improve your health. The clinic is generously donating their space, so donations are gratefully accepted to help support the clinic. This will be informative & inspirational, and will provide you with a few remedies & recipes, so bring a pen & notebook!
