Research studies in Canada and the United States show four to five percent of the populations have attempted suicide during their lifetime. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is designed to help all caregivers become more ready, willing and able to help persons at risk. Prepared caregivers can help prevent suicide.
Participation during the full two days is required to obtain certificate. Enjoy small group discussions and skills practice that are based upon adult learning principles. Experience powerful videos and simulations on suicide intervention. Feel challenged and safe. Learn suicide first aid.
