At the Qualicum Beach Residents Association AGM, Dr. Morris of the Division of Family Practice (the association of the primary care practitioners in the Qualicum Beach and Parksville area) will speak on the future of primary health care services.

--What is primary health care? --Why can’t I find a Family Physician? --Why is there a shortage of physicians? --Who is responsible for recruiting physicians? --What are the expectations of new physicians? --What needs to be done to fix the physician shortage? --How can health care services be provided more effectively and efficiently? --Is “fee for service” the best method of compensation?
