Professor William Troost, who teaches economics and has an expertise in labour economics and economic history, will present this short lunchtime seminar on the topic.
Titled Income Splitting, Child Payments & Targeted Tax Credits: An Economic Analysis of the Fall Fiscal Update and How it Will Impact You, the session will touch on the changes announced by Finance Minister Joe Oliver in the federal government's Nov. 12 fiscal update.
Families with children under 18 can learn more about the new income splitting allowance, while retirees or those planning to retire can learn about new pension income splitting options.
