<p><span id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Label_Description">Professor William Troost, who teaches economics and has an expertise in labour economics and economic history, will present this short lunchtime seminar on the topic.<br /> <br />Titled <em>Income Splitting, Child Payments &amp; Targeted Tax Credits: An Economic Analysis of the Fall Fiscal Update and How it Will Impact You</em>, the session will touch on the changes announced by Finance Minister Joe Oliver in the federal government's Nov. 12 fiscal update. <br />Families with children under 18 can learn more about the new income splitting allowance, while retirees or those planning to retire can learn about new pension income splitting options.</span></p>
