Tuesday, January 22nd, 29th and Feb 5th from 10am to 12pm at the Home Instead Resource Centre located at 222-1595 McKenzie Ave.

More than 70,000 British Columbians are living with Alzheimer�s or a related dementia, and within a generation the number of people diagnosed in our province is expected to more than double to 177,000.

Across Canada, 231 million hours a year are dedicated to providing informal care to loved ones living with this condition in Canada.

Developed by a team of the top Alzheimer�s experts in North America, the Alzheimer�s CARE Program incorporates an innovative, person-centered approach to help families deal with this condition.

We are inviting members of the local community and media to participate in the Alzheimer�s CAREGiver training sessions.

Participants in the education sessions will learn how to:
� Manage behaviors
� Encourage engagement
� Care for themselves while caring for their loved one
