The “Logger Sports” event (our heritage sport) depicts the past and present logging practices through entertaining competitions between loggers and is presently the largest in Canada for prize money and number of events. This year's show will offer two World Championship and seven Canadian Championships, along with other Open, Intermediate, Novice, ladies Youth and Teen events. International and local loggers will be competing for part of the proposed $37,645.00 prize package and maybe set a Canadian or World record.

In keeping with our name, Salmon Festival, we will have a Salmon Barbeque where festival goers can enjoy a delicious salmon lunch or supper. There will also be booths and displays with a marine theme.

For the children Salmon Festival provides special areas with events tailored for the enjoyment of all ages.  At the children’s area, “Thrifty Foods Kids Zone”, the young ones can enjoy a wide variety of  FREE rides and events.
