We strive to develop keen problem solving skills in our children, but this week it's the parents who are being given a creative thinking exercise: Managing a teachers' strike on International Women's Week.

It's the perfect storm. While Vancouver Island women are out taking advantage of meetings special events and luncheons, the men will be frantically juggling work and children. Single parents will be facing even bigger challenges.
