Every April 12th, people from around the world gather to celebrate human achievement in space. Yuri�s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of April 12, 1961, the day of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin�s first manned spaceflight, and April 12, 1981, the inaugural launch of NASA�s Space Shuttle.
This is the first major party on Vancouver Island! Come celebrate all things "space" -- from Yuri Gagarin to NASA to science fiction and Star Trek. Enjoy the special space-themed bar and food menu. Dress for the occasion -- there's a costume prize!
