Wednesday, October 29th, 8-10pm, Yukon’s Steve Sladean evening of mirth and madness, sadness and joy
An accomplished vocalist, guitar and harmonica player with a “big” voice he has performed in concert, coffeehouses and various festivals from the Yukon & gold rush towns of Alaska to the outports of Newfoundland; from the Lunenburg Opera House in Nova Scotia to the old Igloo Church in Inuvik, NWT. And - like the song says - ‘from Houston Texas to the Bering Sea’. For the past 17 years his summer months are spent at home in Whitehorse producing the daily summer concert series, “Arts in the Park”.
