The Young Professionals Comox Valley (YPCV) is holding their third annual New Year Kickoff and Membership Drive at the Best Western Westerly Hotel April 2nd from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Mix and mingle with the Comox Valley's emerging leaders.
Brendan Somers, incoming President of the YPCV, comments, �We are really excited to go into our third year. We�ve held a number of professional development and community-driven events which exceeded our expectations. This year we will be looking to build upon those successes to further benefit our members and the entire Comox Valley.�
This event is free and open to the public of all ages, though you must be under the age of 40 at the time of registration to become a member. Refreshments and a no-host bar will be available.
�Becoming a member is easy. It is open to anyone under 40 that is business and/or community-minded. The membership for the year is $150. Being a member of YPCV includes many benefits such as, invites to all events, personal bio on our website, collective recognition in community events, access to professional development events, discounts all over the Comox Valley and much more� says Brendan Abreu, Membership Chair of YPCV.
