Identified by whom? By yourself, a book, a friend, or by the iNaturalist ap. Recorded by whom? By the iNaturalist ap. Download it on your phone, choose the YES BioBlitz event, and start taking pictures or sound recordings. The ap does the rest. What designated area? From South Nanaimo, South Wellington, Cassidy, Diamond, Ladysmith, Boat Harbour Cedar, and Yellow Point, and everything in between.
What time frame? 6AM on April 28 - 8Pm on May 1.
