"What a Wonderful World - of Singing" will showcase a diverse repertoire, including Baroque, a motion picture, theme, traditional and popular pieces, a medley of Broadway music, gospel-style call and response; from old world to contemporary and regional composers.
Yellowpoint Singers are pleased to feature guest performers, Camosun College Conservatory Vocal Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Louise Rose. Ms. Rose began early, directing her grandfather's church choir in Pennyslvania at age 8. Having studied under such as Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington and Leonard Bernstein, she is a versatile pianist, vocalist, recording artist, composer, motivational speaker, choral conductor, accompanist, teacher, facilitator and caring mentor. Don't miss your opportunity to gather up your family and friends and spend a Sunday afternoon of musical inspiration.
