Yellow Point Drama Group (YPDG) was named winner of the South Island Zone at Theatre BC�s 2013 Festival for the spring production of Norm Foster�s comedy, �Looking.� YPDG was also named South Island Zone Festival winner for best production and best backstage work, while Barbara Metcalf and Brian March won best actor awards.
Fresh from its South Island Zone win, �Looking� returns for two nights only: Friday, July 5 at Ladysmith Little Theatre, 4985 Christie Rd., and Saturday, July 6 at Cedar Hall, All ticket proceeds go to YPDG�s trip to Theatre BC�s Mainstage Festival July 5-13 in Kamloops.
In the hilarious comedy, �Looking,� a personal ad in the newspaper brings two middle-aged couples together on a blind date, setting off clever plot twists and an unexpected hook-up. Directed by Armando Dosantos, �Looking� stars Gordon McInnis, Brian March, Barbara Metcalf, and Moira Steele.
