Non-members = $30.00 for both (+ free membership) or $22.50 for one (+ free membership).

PART ONE SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16th 11am-2pm
PART TWO SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD 11am-2pm

This series includes two workshops -three hours each. These workshops are to help the writer/producer/actor bring work to a public forum. This dynamic and exciting course will awaken the creativity in all of us. Learn the basics of creating skits for church, school or community theatre. Understand the formatting; terminology and how-to develop a one-act play. Turn your works into performance art; learn how to produce a poetry reading, host Improv nights or present a festival-ready play. We will be covering the writing of all types of performance art including murder mysteries, radio plays, dinner theatre, storytelling, slam poetry, and skits for Renaissance Fairs.

Some theatre games and fun provided-bring your creativity to these workshops.

Who would be interested?
Creative writers, beginning writers, poets, playwrights . . . any writer who wants to turn their words into live art; Producers/people interested in the arts & producing events. Actors who want to explore performance art pieces and putting together a fringe-type show would also enjoy this experience.
