Write A Legacy Letter - Free Workshop

What’s a Legacy Letter?
Every legacy letter is unique. It might be a letter to be shared on a loved one’s special occasion—or even at your own celebration of life. It may contain humorous recollections from your early life (e.g., what dating your grandpa was like for me), or revelations about your joys, regrets or hopes for the future.
We’ll have a look at letters that were hilarious, and others that were simple and heartfelt. Every legacy letter is unique, and may well be treasured by its eventual recipient or audience.
This event is for writers and non-writers alike. We’ve all had a history—and we’ll all leave some sort of legacy. We’ll do some fun exercises to explore our recollections, hopes and values. No one needs to share their results. This is JUST FOR YOU!
Bring along a pen and notebook. You can register for this “no charge” event by phone at 250-933-2665 or online at the library's website. (Registration is appreciated as it helps us know how many handouts to print, but if you’re reading this late and are interested, please just drop in!).
Hope to see you at Nanaimo North Library! ~ Judy
