Living Is Easy With Eyes Closed (2013)
Winner of six Goya Awards, David Trueba’s film evokes a time and place that is gentle, good-humoured and tinged with melancholy. Set in 1960s Spain, the film takes you on a glorious sepia toned journey to Almeria with a single and somewhat lonely English teacher who is a devoted Beatles fan. The pace is leisurely, but Antonio's openhearted kindness is so winning and charming that you won't mind the time it takes to get to the destination.
