We would like to invite you and your family to join us in a celebration of the worlds oceans. This is an annual event that we host in collaboration with the Township of Esquimalt. It is the only World Oceans Day celebration that takes place in Esquimalt and is a wonderful event that celebrates community, conservation, and all things ocean related!

Local vendors and organizations who care for our ocean's health will be there, including organizations such as CaNOE, the Robert Bateman Centre, Peninsula Streams, and WWF. Local vendors showcasing their ocean friendly wares include Drift Coast Girl, the Esquimalt Farmer's Market, West Coast Refill and more! Come watch the Nail, Sail and Bail challenge and race and vote for who you think will win.

Food and live music are available to enjoy, or sign up for one of our Gorge Waterway nature walks hosted throughout the day. Free coffee if you bring a reusable mug! Your children will love getting a unique ocean critter facepainted on their cheek, and can go wild in the bouncy castle! A silent auction in support of marine education for local elementary and middle schools showcases some excellent examples of activity passes, cosmetic products, and art.
