Workshop: Paper Cutting, Creating a Narrative

Paper Cutting: Creating a Narrative will introduce students to the process of developing an original narrative by borrowing from several sources. Source material will be culled from children’s book illustrations, which will be traced and combined to create an inventive and lively composition.
The process will move from sketching to line drawing with black ink, to paper cutting. The final result will be an illustrative black paper cut.
