Workshop: Paper Cutting, Creating a Narrative

This workshop will introduce you to the technique of paper cutting and the process of developing an original narrative by borrowing from several sources. Source material is culled from children's book illustrations, which will be traced and combined to create an inventive and lively composition.

The process will move from sketching to line drawing with black ink to paper cutting. The result will be an illustrative black paper cut that will be both dynamic and completely original. No experience necessary.
