Egg Tempera is a beautiful, versatile and vibrant medium, and was used extensively in Europe for hundreds of years before it was all but forgotten during the Renaissance. You will learn how to make your own egg emulsion and combine it with pigment to make egg tempera paint right in your own kitchen!
Historic methods and contemporary applications will be discussed.
