Works of HeART Show - Artists are Called to Make a Difference

The Nanaimo Arts Council and Works of HeART Project have joined forces to host a collaborative, impactful Art Exhibition.

Utilize your creative talents to celebrate multi-culturalism, promote unity and challenge racism.

Submission deadline is August 30th, 2018. Art Exhibition dates are December 4 to January 6. (Set up - Dec 3)

Create an art piece using any medium, based on the Chief Dan George quote: "The heart never knows the colour of the skin." Include your bio, art description and a selling price. Viewers vote for their favourite piece.

All participating artists receive excellent exposure on social media, our Works of HeART Project website and an inspirational FILM Works of HeART is producing. 

Impressive prizes for People's Choice winners:

• 1st Prize: $100 cash, $100 dinner for 2 at Asteras Taverna Greek Restaurant, Framing worth $100 by Michaela Davidson Gallery.


• 2nd Prize: $100 Nautical Gift Basket by A2Sea Creations


• 3rd Prize: 1 Year NAC Membership & $25 Michaels Art Package.
