Work Parties at Pine Street Community Garden

Drop in to one of our Work Parties, where volunteers gather to garden all year round. There is always something to do: mulching, digging, composting, harvesting, watering etc. There is something for every experience level and all ability levels.
Where? At Pine Street Community Garden behind the Foodshare Centre
What will you do? Work with other volunteers digging, building, planting, watering, harvesting. Grow fruits and vegetables from scratch. Share gardening knowledge, the sunshine, a laugh, the harvest! Learn how to raise your own food…there and at home.
Cost? Volunteers pay an annual fee of $15 for membership in the Society and to cover liability while volunteering.
What to bring? Clothes appropriate to the weather, in the greenhouse and outside, including work gloves. https://nanaimocommunitygardens.ca
