WordPress 101 – Island Savings Centre This is an introduction to using the WordPress content management system for designing a website or blog. Learn how to set up a free WordPress website or blog and then learn how to choose and install a theme, write blog posts, add pages, images, videos and PDFs, integrate with social media, add some custom plugins for things like newsletters or image galleries, and even some basic SEO. Open style discussion course with plenty of time for Q&A. 6hrs hands-on training delivered via 3 x 2hr classes. Please note – this class is designed for confident, intermediate computer users. Laptops and tablets are welcome.
