This day is the second anniversary of the overturning of Roe v Wade, and we stand in solidarity with those who have lost reproductive rights and access to healthcare.

On behalf of women all over the world, we advocate for equal rights, and for no more gender-based violence. We shouldn't have to choose the bear. When women report violence, they should be believed. When women ask for a raise, or fair treatment at home or in the workplace, or make a decision about their own bodies, they should be respected.

We encourage women everywhere to take the day off work/ school and perform NO free labour at home or in the community. We know this isn't practical for all, so are hosting this event at lunchtime, and hope you'll be able to attend, even briefly. If you cannot strike at all on June 24th, wear red and black, and start discussions with the people in your life about the issues women are facing.

We will have some signs available, but encourage you to get creative and bring your own. BRING YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR PARTNERS and YOUR FIERCE LOVE
