Women's Art as Activism

Artists: Frances Deverell, Karen Birch, Jan Pullinger, Dema Maksod, Donna Birkinshaw, Patricia Robison, Dyane Brown

This exhibit tells women's stories, ways that women have witnessed events of their times, women's advocacy: for justice, for peace, for the environment, for families. Most of the work is paintings, some in fabric. There is also an installation, Donna Birkinshaw's Little Peace Museum which chronicles the lives of several heroic women.

We welcome people to share conversation about the art and the issues, if the weather is good, visit over tea in the garden.
