An evening of wine and fun!

We will pair a selection of 15 Vancouver Island & BC Wineries, Distilleries, Breweries and Cideries with Country Club Centre businesses. Our unique experience will allow you to Sip, Stroll, and Shop the night away!

During Wine Walks Nanaimo, Country Club Centre’s businesses become tasting rooms where attendees may sample different Wines, Spirits, Beers and Ciders.

You’ll stroll from business to business exploring what the mall has to offer and shop while you sip from your souvenir glass. Especially for this event there will also be 30 fabulous outside Local Vendors showcased throughout the mall during the Wine Walk.

Wine Walk participants will have exclusive access to the mall and these wonderful Vendors and activities as the mall will be closed to the general public for this special event. There will be several Live music acts, a Belly Dancing Activity & Demonstration by Belly Laughs Navel Academy, pre-booked 15 min chair massages, 15 minute mini Manicure and other exciting activities we're still scheduling.

Ticket Info

100 Special VIP tickets are $65 which includes a $10 Merchandise Credit to be used at any Mall store ONLY on the Wine Walk evening, one 5oz glass of wine of your choice at any participating Winery and early registration starting at 4:30pm (all tasting begins at 6pm), first option to book one of nine 15 minute mini massages, one of nine 15 minute mini makeovers or one of nine 15 minute mini manicures (any option will cost $15 and be due upon booking.)

General Admission Tickets are $45 each. Your ticket includes a commemorative 12oz non-breakable stemless wine glass, 10 tasting tickets, light snacks throughout the evening, wristband and event info flier. Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase for $2/ticket.

Designated Driver Tickets for non-drinkers are $20, you get the commemorative glass, enjoy the snacks during the event and get to partake in any event activities.

Purchase Wine, Spirits, Beer or Cider When you find a wine, spirit, beer or cider you love, bring a bottle home from Lucky’s Liquor Store.

When and Where to Check-in

Check-in for the event will open at 4:30pm for VIP Ticket holders and 5:15pm for General Admission Ticket holders (all Tastings begins at 6pm). Country Club Centre is quite unique, you may want to arrive early to grab some lunch and visit the quaint shops and outside vendors before registration. Check-in location will be near the food court in the center of the Mall.

Please do not forget your driver’s license (must show proof of age), as we will check ID for ALL attendees. This allows us to serve you at the various sites without requiring you to show your ID at every spot. At check-in, you will receive a wristband, wine glass, 10 taste tickets and a flyer detailing the Mall participants, a list of the outside vendors and some info regarding all the tasting sites. You won't be able to sample without your wrist band.

Please note Wine Walks Nanaimo will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given if it rains. (We'll be indoors, so this shouldn't be a problem)

Rules

Your wine glass must be empty before leaving the Mall. (You don't have to drink it, but you can't have alcohol in your glass should you exit the building.)

Attendees must be 19. Please bring ID with you.

Redeem taste tickets at each location for samples.

Suggestions

Avoid waiting in line by picking up your glass and wristband early on the day of the event.

Keep your glass in hand throughout the event or label/decorate it with a Sharpie to avoid confusion during the walk. Choose your route in advance to avoid getting separated from your group.

Be sure to eat lunch during the day to avoid drinking on an empty stomach. Bring your ID.

Manage your alcohol intake; we reserve the right to refuse serving anyone who appears to be intoxicated.

Your tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferrable. If you are transferring your ticket to a different person, please be sure to login to Eventbrite and update the name on your ticket.
